Anniversary film of the early history of the Papua New Guinea Banking Corporation. 1974 saw the inception of the first Papua New Guinea commercial bank created by special legislation in the national parliament. The Papua New Guinea Banking Corporation was formed when it took over the Australian Commonwealth Banking Corporation. On the 22nd of April 1974 the PNGBC commenced operations.
