First feature-length film production in Papua New Guinea that tells the story of a university dropout returning to his native village in Buka Passage, North Solomons. Tukana's parents want him to marry a tokples school teacher, Josephine, and settle down. But he secretly slips away to Panguna and a driving job with BCL. He then takes up with Lucy, a high school dropout, and also starts to drink long and hard. Subliminally, the film carries the social message that excessive drinking does not help to solve problems.
