Radioactive isolopes of iodine are of considerable importance in biochemical research and this 14 minute video if designed to give workers and introduction to the radiation safety aspects of their use. It deals with 1-25, which is now generally used in preference to I-131 but the priciples of safe working practice are the same for both isolopes.
